We are Thankful

The monday before thanksgiving for FHE we had a lesson on the 10 lepers and how we can be thankful. Then we made these cute turkeys (thanks for the idea lindsey) Madison wrote what she was thankful for on the hands-Mom, Dad, baby Lily, and Jesus. This year we had thanksgiving at our house with the James. We were all a little home sick but I would have to say that we pulled of a really fun Thanksgiving. We had the whole traditional spread of food complete with my moms rolls that my sweet Mikey made for me. Then we watched Wall-E and finished of the night with a little guitar hero. Our girls are the same ages so Madison and Adella had fun playing as always and Lily and Kala had fun playing without their sisters smothering them. We are thankful for our family and for goods friends!

The older girls ate on the deck and Lily snuck out and stole a peanut butter chocolate bar. Oh so messy and good. She was pretty proud of herself.

Disney World!!!

We got back yesterday from our trip to Disney World. Mike took this picture and then the camera died so I will get more pictures as soon as my dad e-mails them to me. So the trip was amazing however there were some definite highs and lows of the trip. Let me break it all down-
(p.s. there is another new post after this keep scrolling)

THE HIGHS
-Our condo was super nice 4 bedrooms 3 baths new construction. I loved it.
-My parents came with us. The girls love them so much. My lily bean wanted grandma over me she would practically leap out of my arms to get to her.
-My parents watched the girls for a day and Mike and I got to go to Epcot and MGM studios by ourselves ride all the adult rides and pretend like we didn't have kids for a little while. Rockin roller coaster was sweeeeeat.
-Madison's highlight was meeting the princesses. Her reaction was priceless
-Going the week BEFORE a holiday our longest wait was 10 minutes and we walked on almost everything.
-We bought an annual pass!!!

THE LOWS
-Lily woke up on Wednesday and threw up her breakfast. We decided that I would stay home with her in the morning and mike would come watch her in the evening so we each got a half day. Poor thing was so sick, but by that evening she was eating and smiling and running around. So the next day we all went to the park (this was our last day) By about 3pm I start to feel a little sick. I am hoping I am just tired but be 6pm I tell everyone I can't handle it anymore we have to go back to the condo NOW. I make it all the way to the parking tram then throw up in a Disney sack. It was so great and not embarrassing at all-not.
-That night my Mom and Mike ended up having the same nasty stomach flu. I was glad it was our last day but I will try my best to erase all this from my memories of the trip.

Hannah Montana

Madison has never watched a single episode of Hannah Montana but whenever she sees a Hannah Montana picture or product in the store she tells us how cool she is and that she likes her "rock and roll style" I don't know where she gets this stuff from. So one day I was trying to get her to sit still so I could do her hair and I decided to tell her that Hannan Montana wears braids and that I was doing her hair like hers. Well it worked...really well in fact she now asks for braids and sits still for them. We have been using this bribe for a few other things like getting dressed, going places, or eating. Doesn't everyone know Hannah Montana likes Oranges?

Update on the Girls

Lily has no problems eating her dinner. She loves her food. she also loves to rub it in her hair at almost every meal. Spaghetti is always fun.
Madison continues to amaze me. I spend half my time telling her to leave her sister alone and the other other half wondering how she got so sweet. Tonight we were suppose to have the missionaries over for dinner however they told us they had an appointment and had to just grab the food and run. We were packing up dinner for the missionaries to take and Mike asked Madison if she thought we should put some candy in the sack. We had just bought some 75% off bags at target. Mike went in our room to get the new bags while Madison went in her room got her halloween bucket and dumped the whole thing in the sack. She said the Missionaries needed it because they were in a hurry. We love you Madison!

Trick or Treat

Halloween was a great night . The weather was perfect and the kids had a good time. Here is Madison with her friends Adella and Gabe. Gabe was Ammon. He won my choice for best halloween costume this year. Madison was Cinderella for the second year in a row.
