Mamma Mia!

Last night a group of us girls went to dinner and then the broadway musical Mamma Mia at the Broward Center for the performing arts. It was one of the funnest girls night out and I'm so glad Katie thought of it (thanks Katie.) I vote we go to every show that comes here from now on!

Well I just couldn't make a new post without cute baby pictures. The pic on top has no story it is just stinkin cute. The pic on bottom is lily chasing me while trying to grab the camera as I take her picture.
"But mamma I really want the camera"

Where do they get their red hair?

I often get asked (and by often I mean every day) where my girls get their red hair. It is a legitimate question considering Mike and I have brown hair and brown eyes. The truth is we are not really sure. We don't have any red heads in our family that we know of. Suprisingly, all the girls born so far on Mikes side have been red heads. We dont know how we got so lucky but we sure love these girls and there beautiful hair.

A Testimony

This is usually something I write in a journal and not on a blog for everyone to read. However for some reason I feel like a should. Maybe its because I'm still in that new year resolution mode or maybe it's because everytime I feel like I would like to in sacrament meeting my body turns to ice and I can't seem to move a muscle. So here is to baby steps in '09...

There are many many things in my life that leave me feeling very unintelligent. However there are a few things that I know for sure. I know that my Savior lives. I have felt His presence and heard his promptings spoken to my mind in a more real and tangible way then I feel the floor under my feet. I have felt His tender mercies. It makes me feel overwhemingly grateful and blessed. I always feel for my small effort I recieve exponentially greater rewards. When I feel lost He tells me where to go. When I am scared He tells me I can. When I am overwhemeled He comforts. Whenever I knock He opens. I know that when I am on his side I am always right. I know that my savior lives. I can never deny it. It is the most precious knowledge available anywhere on this earth. I guess that makes me one very smart girl.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Heckin Freak

The Other day Madison was frustrated because she couldn't buckle her seat belt and said, "Oh Heckin Freak." I laughed so hard. I just love her arangement of mormon curse words. Today it was, "Oh my Heckin Freakin Gosh" She is one funny girl.

Our Holiday Review

Here is a rundown of our Christmas break

Christmas eve:
We spent Christmas eve with the Thomases and there cute brand new baby Noah. The girls put on a concert for us 1/2 christmas songs 1/2 barbie movie songs. We ate some good food and played guitar hero. Then we went home and the girls got new p.j.s.
Christmas Day:
Lily got baby goldfish from Santa. It's her favorite snack as you can tell by the chipmunk cheeks. She was adorable opening presents she would make an oh with her lips and ooh and aah at the packages. Madison got a scooter from Santa. Although she didn't get everything she wanted. After looking at her stocking she ran to the window excitedly and said, "Is it snowing yet!" Well obviously that didn't happen. We had a nice morning with our little family then spent the rest of the day figuring out how we were going to get back to Idaho flying standby during the holidays. After lots of prayers and a near miracle.....
Ta Da! We made it!!! Idaho is truly our home. Our freezing icy home. We have had the best time with our family and friends and it has truly finished of the holidays.

Lilys looks so cute in her warm clothes.
