Lily had her 1st birthday on Sunday. We had an Elmo themed party because her favorite show is Elmos world. Once we were in the bedroom and she heard the theme song for Elmos world coming from the living room her little body jolted with excitement and she ran to the living room as fast as her chubby little legs could take her.

We made lily a bear from build a bear and recored our voices telling her "we love you" inside of it. We made one for Madison on her 1st b-day with our voices and decided to keep the tradition going. Lily is so sweet with teddy bears she puts their head over her shoulder and pats their back like a little mommy.
The decorations.We decorated our Christmas tree, hung lights and set up a birthday party. The joys of having kids with holiday birthdays.

Very cute pictures! I have a december birthday child too (Emily) and it can be so fun...but stressful too so close to Chrismas!
What a fun party! Recording your voices for a build a bear is such a great idea! Lily looks too cute as usual.
