Spring Break 2009
Did I say we went to Mexico? I meant to say West Palm Beach Zoo.
Lily thought it was fun to growl at the tigers. The tigers also seemed impressed by Lily.

Weekend Wariors
We have been taking advantage of the good weather. Our Saturdays have been so full of fun. As mentioned in our last post we went to Shark Valley. It was fun seeing all of the alligators, and also riding our bikes with the girls. Here are a few more picture for your viewing pleasure.
The girls were ready to strike a pose even when a large alligator is sitting in the water behind them.
This is close enough for Angela. She was not thrilled about the big meat eaters.
A day at the beach is always a great way to have some fun and get a sunburn. Today we went to Hollywood Beach. The water was beautiful but the temperature low. Lilly and Madison thought they were going to swim. I guess the water is not always warm in Florida. We still had a great time. Angela took some really great pictures.

The City of Hollywood built a new recreational center by the beach. They have racquetball courts, play ground, and a new splash pad. It took Lily a while but she warmed up to the idea and had fun. Madison jump right in. Of course she got cold and needed a towel. Some thing never change.
Interesting Fact: There were hundreds of Canadians from Quebec at the beach today. If anyone knows why please let me know?

Aunt Becca, Disney, and other cute stuff
We had so much fun last week during my sisters visit. (Thanks for coming Becca) The highlight of her trip was a weekend at Disney World. It was so fun for us to be their with her. Mike gave us an afternoon alone at Epcot and of course having another adult means we got to go on adult rides, a big plus.
Lily's favorite part of the trip was her Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwich.

Now for the "and other cute stuff" portion of the post. Madison and Adella started their cheer pom-pom class last week. The class room and teacher was awesome. They were happy girls that day and it was stinkin cute to watch.

Exciting News!
Mike just came home with some super exciting news and after calling my family I still need to shout it from the roof tops. Mike got into the Periodontics honers program for 4th year!!! They only choose 4 students and there was something like 70 students apply. It means he gets to learn periodontal procedures and even do surgeries! It's like a built in periodontal residency. That would have normally been an extra year after graduating. It also hugely ups our chances of getting into a periodontal specialty program. It would be 3 more years of school (gulp) but also triple the income when we get out. All I know is I am super proud of him he totally deserves it and it just confirms what I already know--Mike your amazing!!
